International projects from Tim Lane, international service:

In recent years, Bettendorf Rotary has taken the lead to build a bridge in Nicaragua that connected villagers to the rest of the country, to build a rain-water collection system that captured fresh water for a village in Haiti, and to help ease homelessness in St. Petersburg, Russia. As part of Rotary District 6000, BRC supports health, sanitation and literacy projects in Mexico and Central America.

Youth programs in QC from Brian Goerdt, community service:

Every year BRC sends three high school students to the Rotary Youth Leadership Academy for students from throughout Iowa, gives a dictionary to every 4th grader in the city and awards seven scholarships.
