Lobsterfest is Bettendorf Rotary Club’s Annual Fundraiser!
Bettendorf Rotary Club gets involved in multiple projects each year to help support our community.
For example...
- A fairly new initiative is our Blanket Drive with blankets given to individuals and families in need through many agencies in our community. We collected and delivered over 4,000 blankets in 2023.
- Each year we also send four high school students to the Rotary Youth Leadership Academy for students throughout Iowa.
- We sponsor a “Pay it Forward” program with all Bettendorf 5th graders.
- We award seven college scholarships.
- We create and deliver Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets to low-income families.
- We supported our community’s Honor Flight with our Lobsterfest “Fund-A-Cause”.
Our local projects focus on helping youth, people with disabilities, veterans, low-income families, and the homeless. Lobsterfest supports many of these projects.
